Each year, the ROBERT F. IRWIN AWARD is provided to the Northern Plains employee “that demonstrates integrity in their family and at work, devotes them self to the community, is supportive and loyal in the workplace, and is attentive to workplace safety. This person represents the qualities and values Mr. Irwin knew to be very important in life.” The employee is recognized on a plaque that dates from the Award’s inception, and NP will make a $1000 donation to a charity or community program of the individual award winner’s choice, along with giving the employee a $1000 cash award.
The 2019 Robert F Irwin award winner is Tracy Olson, of our Northern Plains Railroad, transportation department in Fordville, ND. He has been with NPR for 15 years. Tracy has chosen the Fordville Fire Department for his donation.
