Honoring a Remarkable Spirit: Jesse J. Chalich Memorial Golf Tribute
In honoring the legacy of Northern Plains’ Jesse J. Chalich – and his love for sports that you’ve read about in this edition of the Railroader magazine – we are also pleased to announce that the annual employee golf tournament will now be held as the Jesse J. Chalich Memorial Golf Tournament.
Linked to this annual event will be a foundation that will be established to support not only the Jesse J. Chalich Sports by Railroaders Fund described in this issue of the Railroader, but to benefit other community initiatives.
This year’s tournament will be special as the first annual played in Jesse’s honor, and at this time is scheduled for Friday, July 31st, 2026. Check our Northern Plains website and social media platforms for updates.
